1.
I feel light I feel heavy And then I don't Feel anything Until a branch falls And with its snap I hear everything Echo back Nothing's still as it seems Not the blade of grass on your knee Nor the ground beneath It all hums in harmony I've got everything I need Right here with me Right here with me Right here with me "Skin," whispered bark. "We were once not as we are." We are not the same But we share common DNA; Reciprocity Between all living things.
2.
Rachel from Alaska Did those other girls ever catch up to ya? Disregarding what your height was, You were so much better than the rest of us Because your soul stood ten feet tall And only seemed to grow each time ya hit the ball. William, wishful veterinarian, Were you ever diagnosed with autism? We were the kings of morning recess, Roaring at anyone who dared come near us Because your mind though somewhat strange Was enraptured by every living thing... Excluding humanity. To all my childhood friends: I know our time was well-spent Because the details aren't clear Still I think about you year after year after year. I know I don't know Your last names or addresses So the chances are slim at best That I'll ever see you again Where do the memories end For all those kids I knew when I was ten?

about

As we prepare to release our first full-length album later this year, we have a couple of full-band songs for you: "Skin Whispered Bark" and "Year After Year After Year."

Once again, we'd like to donate our proceeds from this release toward COVID-19 aid at St. James Infirmary.

St. James Infirmary is a peer-based nonprofit clinic that had been serving sex workers, drug users, and people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco. Donations contributed will directly go to providing outreach supplies such as food, coats, tents, hygiene and harm reduction supplies to distribute to outreach teams.

We are asking for $2 per song and if you get both, you'll get a live take of "When You Finally Come Up For Air" recorded in our good friend Daniel Esporma's living room just before Seattle, San Francisco and many other cities along the West Coast enforced shelter-in-place countermeasures.

Every little bit helps because, needless to say, our community needs help now more than ever and St. James Infirmary has been on the ground doing just that everyday for over 20 years.

Donations contributed will directly go to providing outreach supplies such as food, coats, tents, hygiene and harm reduction supplies to distribute to outreach teams.

To learn more, visit stjamesinfirmary.org where you can donate directly.

Otherwise, please take care of yourselves and enjoy our new tunes!
